Dear Friends,

William James, the great pragmatic philosopher and psychologist from US had delivered lectures on Attitude. As per this visionary, a man is treated by the society where he live in always depends upon his attitude towards that society. The change of attitude can create a million ideas, when you are seriously into your profession.

I am indeed happy to inform you that Thuriya had its official launch on the 25th of August at The Le Meridien Convention center, Cochin. Thanks to all those great minds who had participated in this function. My hearty thanks to the dignitaries from the Department of Kerala Tourism and the eminent personalities who had traveled to Cochin and made themselves available with us.

Thuriya Launch was different in its presentation and style. As mentioned earlier, that could be because; a changed in the attitude was prevalent everywhere among the travel professionals. We have been designing vacations, executive holidays, Incentive tours and what not, for the last many years. But where have we shown our commitment towards the community, over which we have driven our cart loads of tourism dreams. No, we have not done anything till date. This feel had become a factor for the emergence of a creative outlook in all means at the Thuriya Launch. Today, Thuriya takes the initiative to change the attitudes of leisure managers.

We have selected a remote place in Kerala, called Vellinezhi, as the Thuriya Destination experience of the year. Vellinezhy is the cradle of the classical art form, Kathakali. Travelers around the globe, who had been to Kerala, or who ever had a chance to know about Kerala, are aware about Kathakali. But unfortunately only a few are aware about the womb of Kathakali, Vellinezhy. Thuriya, with its professionally designed packages, will be giving a world wide promotion to the little village of Vellinezhi. This promotion could in turn create opportunities for the developmental aspects of this village and lot of revenue generation factors could be explored in this regard.
