Goa- where opulence, tradition and fun merge…
Goa- a spectacular treat that awaits you at the western coast of India. One of the most sought after tourist destinations in the world. If you are planning to have a chill out, Goa is sure to be an ideal destination for you. The seas and beaches of Goa will enchant you, no doubt. The grand churches of Goa will offer you a new spiritual experience. Goa has an opulent cultural heritage of its own. The historical significance of the state deserves special mention. No doubt; Goa has rightly been called the “Pearl of the Orient”.
Goa was a Portuguese colony until 1961. The lofty remnants of colonization still remain. Cultural and religious heritages of the East and the West have mixed up over centuries for the result that Goa has a diversified, yet secular life style; the very aspect that distinguishes Goa from the rest of the tourist destinations in the world. You are, at Goa, destined to know for yourself a rare warmth of hospitality that you may never have come across so far!
The winding rivers that flow through the soul of Goa forms inland waterways which add to the beauty of the land. It’s a main transport means too. The estuaries, creeks and palm-fringed coastlines and the coconut groves will be a refreshing fete for your eyes. Goa’s own grubs include deliciously prepared prawn- mackerel- sardine- crab and lobster dishes. Portuguese culinary influences are profound.
Goa is serviced by an international/national airport located at Dabolim near Vasco. Though the tourist season in Goa begins in late September and carries on through early March, the fact remains that Goa is an all-time ideal hang out. Take a bath at the Goan seas and stay relaxed on the pacifying beaches. But it’s the monsoon that brings out the real beauty of Goa. This formal Portuguese colony is at its best in the rainy days. It’s really an out of the world experience to be at Goa during the rainy seasons. The fragrance of new rain… the wildly rushing streams… winds that blow straight from the heavens… the green green mountains and fields… skies that are always damp grey, packed with lightning streaks every now and then… no, it just simply can’t be depicted in mere words!! Goa has got no parallels on the world tourist map.
So it’s high time that you chose Goa for an ideal chill out destination. Get ready to experience the new versions of warm hospitality… get ready to have a perfect holiday time.
