Today travel to Mahabalipuram , enroute visit Kanchipuram.Kanchipuram is famous as a city of thousand temples and also renowned for the beautifully wooven silk saress. Visit Ekambareshwara temple here and proceed to Mahabalipuram which was a well established sea port during the 7th and 10th centuries of pallava dynasty.Sculptures and rock carvings here depicts mythological episodes.Visit the renowned shore temple also the mahishasura cave and pancha pandava rathas. After breakfast depart to Pondicherry, away from the hustle and bustle of big city, its a quiet little town on the southern coast.
